Tin Bird Productions Inc. is a photography and video production business owned and operated by award-winning Director & Cinematographer, Lian Morrison in St. John’s Newfoundland. A graduate of Memorial University, Lian has a professional background in film including a filmmaking diploma from Prague Film School, with a specialization in Editing. Lian has worked on various series such as Rock Solid Builds, Republic of Doyle, Save My Pet as well as small doc-style videos for CBCNL. She has also been a volunteer as a board member for The Nickel Independent Film Festival since 2018 and has helped out with many of the Nickel’s endeavours including filmmaking and animation workshops throughout the province.
Since 2014 Tin Bird Productions has been making creative digital content for many brands and organizations all across the province including real estate ads, commercials, training videos and social media/marketing material. In addition, we also specialize in documentary filmmaking which includes films Flight of the Fisherman (2016), Behind Banana Vacuum (2019) and Set in Motion (2021).
